Vacation

I saw a moose.
I saw a blue heron.
I saw a bald eagle catch a fish in the Snake River.
I caught a fish myself in the Snake River
and held him in my hand – a rainbow in my hand –
and let him go into the dark water.
I saw a sunset that had all the colors of the trout,
let it go too in the dark.
