The Law of Fernando

One of the things that I do is spend a lot of time in the Stanford bookstore.
If you go to the management section,
there are infinite books solving the problem every time.
If you go to the chemistry section,
you find the first book by Linus Pauling, published in 1951,
that still is relevant, and read again and again by people.

So I discovered the following law.
This is the law of Fernando:
    The less people know about a field, the more books are published about the field.
